ARD and ZDF renews World Cup skiing rights

German public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF have renewed their International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup rights for the 2011-12 season onwards by finalising separate deals with the domestic ski federation and the Infront Sports & Media agency. The deal with the domestic federation, the Deutscher Skiverband, was agreed in principle earlier this year. The deal covers events organised by the German federation and is understood to cover the four seasons from 2011-12 to 2014-15.
