Principal partner and front of jersey sponsor iSelect has upgraded its support of the Gold Coast Titans NRL club and will replace Jetsar as naming rights backers for four years from 2013.

This season iSelect joined the Titans on a five-year contract as the club’s Premier Partner and front of jersey sponsor, and after a string of successful advertising campaigns featuring the Titans and its players, have enhanced their existing sponsorship of the club to also include naming rights.

Gold Coast Titans Managing Director Michael Searle said it was exciting that iSelect has seen the value in the relationship in such a short period of time and have now committed to taking their sponsorship agreement to the next level.

“Right from the start of our partnership, iSelect have been great supporters of the club,’’ said Searle in a statement.

“They have been active in the marketplace with a string of successful media advertising campaigns featuring Titans players and this has benefitted both the Titans and iSelect brands.

“We are delighted that another major national brand is going to be the naming rights holders for the Titans on a long-term agreement.’’

iSelect CEO Matt McCann said he was pleased that iSelect were furthering their partnership with the club.

“This is a great day for the Gold Coast Titans and iSelect as a major supporter of the club,’’ said McCann.

“We look forward to winning a premiership in the future as the iSelect Gold Coast Titans.’’

The Titans have faced financial pressure this season but seemed to be in a position to survive earlier this month when creditors agreed to approve a debt repayment scheme.
