Italian Serie A club Fiorentina has agreed a new kit partnership deal with Joma Sport.

As the club’s new technical sponsor, Joma will provide Fiorentina’s kits for the next three seasons, with the agreement set to be activated on July 1. Joma, which is operational in 70 countries across the globe, replaces Lotto Sport, which has been the Florence club’s kit partner for the past seven seasons.

A statement on the official Fiorentina website noted that Joma is one of the world’s top 10 sportswear brands. The club added that Joma already supplies kit to a number of leading clubs across Europe, including Sevilla, Real Betis, Deportivo la Coruna, Valencia and Getafe in Spain, Standard Liege in Belgium and Chievo Verona in Italy. Fiorentina executive director Gian Luca Baiesi said that the aim of the partnership with Joma would be to expand the club’s brand presence across the globe.

“Firstly we must thank Lotto Sport Italy for the effective and profitable collaboration that has underpinned our technical sponsorship for the past seven years,” Baiesi said. “We hope Lotto Sport Italy will enjoy many more successful seasons supporting Italian Sport. “From July 1, we will have a young and ambitious company as our partner. Joma is well established across Europe and the world and is also laying the foundations for significant growth within Italy. The feedback we have had from Joma’s operational partners in Spain has given us lots of confidence.”
