Essex County Cricket Club today announced a new partnership that will see ChelmsfordTaxis.com provide taxi transport services to its members, staff and supporters.

ChelmsfordTaxis.com has been granted ‘preferred status’ to offer services on-site both on match days and for off-pitch activities such as conferences, wedding receptions and other celebrations hosted at The Ford County Ground.

“The deal to work along side our County Cricket Club will provide service to not only the people of Chelmsford but visitors too,” said Ian Vernon, Director of ChelmsfordTaxis.com.

Perry Norton, Business Development Manager of Essex Cricket added: “The decision to forge links with ChelmsfordTaxis.com was made easier with the recent announcement of the taxi company’s ‘Approved Provider’ status with Essex Trading Standards ‘Buy with Confidence’ scheme.”
