Nic Ferraro is the Founder and Managing Director of Sports Business Insider and Sports Business Club. He has a number of years of corporate experience in marketing, strategy and customer experience, is a former treasurer for WUSA, and advisor to a Hyundai A-League bid consortium. He is a graduate of the University of Wollongong, an MBA student at the University of Technology, Sydney, and blogger on all things sportsbiz for Smart Company.

Tony Harper – Editor

Tony Harper has been a sports media professional for more than 20 years. He has worked as reporter for national and international organisations – including AAP and The Associated Press of America – is a former sports editor of The Sun Herald newspaper and was founding editor of Inside Cricket and Football+ magazines for ACP Magazines. He is also the Online Director for Fox Sports, a freelance writer and media relations consultant.

 Michael Hoekman  – Academic Partnership Manager

As a recent honours graduate from the University of Technology, Sydney Michael has applied his passion for sport and social change by completing his thesis relating to social capital and football within a disadvantaged neighbourhood in Vietnam. Along with his academic studies he has successfully completed internships and work experience within small-to-medium sized businesses specializing in market research, direct and online marketing and sales. More recently, Michael has worked within the Ethics department at the University of Technology, Sydney and also volunteered at community sporting initiatives, such as the Big Issue’s Street Football Festival and coordinated fundraising efforts for non-government organisations.
